Privacy Policy

1. Calculations and Transaction Data

GoldPro Calculator performs calculations locally on your device. Information entered or generated may include:

• Top Weight and Down Figure
• Gold Price
• Pounds and Density
• Payable Karat and Payable Percentage
• Total Amount
• Customer names and transaction dates
• Saved transaction identifiers and calculation results

Saved financial records remain in local application storage unless you choose to export or back them up. Operating-system backups or device transfers may also include local app data according to your device settings.

The application supports historical Single and Bulk transactions created using earlier calculation methods, including saved commission information. Historical monetary values are preserved rather than automatically recalculated when you view or export them.

GoldPro Calculator does not automatically upload transaction records to developer-operated servers or synchronize financial records between devices.

2. Company Information and Logo

Users may optionally save company information, including company name, telephone number, location, GoldBod licence number and company logo. This information is stored locally. Company details may be included in generated reports, and the logo may appear in GoldPro PDF reports.

Licence details are information you enter for your own reports. The application does not issue or verify GoldBod licences.

Company logos are selected through the device’s supported file picker and copied into application-managed storage as a processed PNG image. Appearance preferences are also stored locally.

3. PDF and Excel Reports

GoldPro Calculator generates PDF and Excel (.xlsx) reports locally. Reports may contain customer names, transaction measurements, saved values and company information. GoldPro PDF reports may also include the selected company logo.

Reports are saved or shared through the relevant controls only when you initiate the action. When you choose a destination through Apple’s sharing or Files interfaces, the selected application or service may receive and process the exported information according to its own privacy practices.

The developer does not automatically receive copies of generated reports.

Temporary export files may remain within application-managed storage. During subsequent exports, the application attempts to remove its older temporary report folders. Copies saved or shared outside the application remain under the control of the user and the receiving service.

PDF and Excel reports are ordinary documents, not password-encrypted backup files. Review their contents and destination before sharing.

4. Encrypted Backup & Restore

GoldPro Calculator provides optional password-protected offline backups on iOS. Backup files can include saved transactions, historical Single/Bulk records, company information, logos, appearance preferences and associated migration and recovery information. Older internal restore safety archives are not recursively included in each new backup.

Backup files use AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 password-based key derivation. Backup passwords are not transmitted to the developer or stored for password recovery.

Users choose where to save encrypted backup files through Apple’s Files interface. Destinations may include local device storage, iCloud Drive or third-party document providers. If a cloud provider is selected, that provider may synchronize the encrypted file according to its settings and privacy policy. Remote destinations may require internet access even though encryption and restoration take place locally.

The backup password protects exported backup files. It is not an app login and does not password-encrypt ordinary reports or every local record file.

5. Migration and Recovery Copies

When upgrading from earlier versions, the application may preserve original history files, saved transaction snapshots and migration information to protect financial records against data loss. It also creates private staging, safety and recovery copies during certain backup or restoration operations. These copies help recover from interrupted operations or restore failures.

Deleting an active transaction does not necessarily remove historical migration sources, quarantined records or recovery copies containing its previous information. There is currently no separate in-app control to erase every preservation copy.

Some recovery information may remain in application-managed storage until the application and its local data are removed. Restoring a backup may reintroduce records contained in that backup.

6. Data Collection, Advertising and Tracking

GoldPro Calculator does not currently use a developer-operated account service, analytics platform, advertising SDK or tracking system. Calculator inputs, customer transaction records, company details and backup passwords are not automatically transmitted to the developer.

The application does not sell user information to advertisers. Information intentionally shared through third-party applications or document providers is handled by those destinations according to their own terms and privacy practices.

7. Data Storage and Deletion

Active application records and settings are retained locally until the user removes them through supported controls, replaces them through restoration or deletes the application and its data. Migration and recovery copies may remain as described above.

For complete removal of local application records and recovery copies, deleting the application removes its related local data. Offloading the application may retain documents and data. Operating-system backups or device transfers may retain or restore app information according to your settings.

Deleting the application does not automatically remove independently saved files, iCloud/device backups or documents previously shared with other services. Users should separately manage those copies through the relevant device settings or provider.

The developer cannot remotely access or delete locally stored transaction records.

8. Internet Access and Support Website

GoldPro Calculator’s core calculations and local transaction management work without an internet connection. Privacy Policy and Support links open external websites only when selected. Local transaction records are not included automatically in those links.

This privacy/support website is hosted on GitHub Pages. The pages use no JavaScript, analytics, advertising, cookies, external fonts or remote assets for their functionality. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. Your browser and the hosting provider may process connection information under their respective privacy policies. If you contact support, the developer receives the information you choose to provide and uses it to respond to your request. Email providers may process the correspondence according to their own privacy practices.

Please avoid sending confidential customer records, backup files or passwords, or unnecessary financial information.

10. Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated when GoldPro Calculator introduces features or changes its data-handling practices. The effective date at the beginning of this document identifies this policy version.
